Downtown Waxahachie has been the center of attention for shopping and entertainment since the late 1800s. I was once told by a reliable source in town that a cowboy would ride all day to spend one night in Waxahachie, Texas.

Flash forward 125 years, and our downtown is more vibrant than ever, thriving and greeting over 2 million visitors annually for our unique selection of shops, wide-variety of dining experiences and annual events.

As we urge you to stay home, stay safe and practice social distancing, I wanted to compile a list of online downtown Waxahachie shopping experiences that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home until we have the opportunity to see each other in-person again!

Without further ado, in no particular order, meet 10 of our downtown online businesses:

1. The Briarpatch Boutique & Gift Store
The Briarpatch has been an anchor business on Main Street for nearly 27 years keeping ladies on trend with clothing, accessories and home décor with prices for all budgets. 2. Vaqueras

For over 25 years, The Doves Nest has been a destination business in downtown Waxahachie offering a gathering of scratch made Southern cuisine, gifts, home accents, old rugs and new friends.
