The Crape Myrtle Capital of Texas will be in full-bloom and ready to celebrate Independence Day with the 27th Annual Crape Myrtle Festival & Parade. The Crape Myrtle Festival is FREE to the public. The spectacular H-E-B and City of Waxahachie fireworks display will begin at 9:15 p.m. Spectators are encouraged to tune their radio to KBEC 1390/99.1 during the fireworks show for a special simulcast of patriotic music choreographed to the fireworks.
