Waxahachie is recognized as a Certified Music Friendly Community through the Texas Music Office. In an effort to foster our local music industry development and growth, we maintain a record of local musicians from or living in Waxahachie. To be included in the City of Waxahachie listing as a local musician, the artist or at least one member of each band must currently reside in the City of Waxahachie.
