Thank you for your interest in the City of Waxahachie's annual 4th of July Parade. The Waxahachie 4th of July Parade is held each year on the 4th of July (unless the 4th is a Sunday, then the parade would be on the 3rd). The parade starts at 10:00am at Getzendaner Park. Applications are due one week prior to the parade date.

PARADE ENTRY RULES & REQUIREMENTS

  4. NO EQUINE ENTRIES ALLOWED (effective beginning in 2024 per Emergency Management)
  5. NO SEMIS OR 18 WHEELERS ALLOWED
  6. NOTHING can be thrown from any float. If caught, you will be removed from the parade and will not be allowed to participate in future parades.
