WAXAHACHIE IS A Certified
"Music Friendly Community"

Participation in the Texas Music Office's "Music Friendly Community" program provides Texas communities with a network for fostering music industry development, and sends a clear message to industry professionals that certified communities are serious about attracting and developing music industry growth.

Here in Waxahachie, we have completed all the steps for certification! On June 30, 2020, we conducted a Virtual Music Friendly Community Celebration Ceremony to make it official. Click here watch the video of the ceremony. In the meantime, we fully support what this program embodies and want to do our part for our local music community.
