Waxahachie, Texas
Where the Eclipse Comes for Fun!
April 6-8, 2024
It's time to make science history again . . . in the 90s, Waxahachie became internationally known as a science destination with the Superconducting Super Collider project . . . it was so cool that even Young Sheldon still talks about it today.
This time, Waxahachie, Texas will make science history and be a science destination by being located in the path of Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024 . . . it's going to be so cool that YOU will be talking about it 20 years later.
Join us for a 3-day weekend filled with science, live music, activities for the family and FUN.
Railyard Park, downtown Waxahachie's amphitheater, will be your epicenter of fun with live music, food trucks and activities for the family leading up to the big day.
Even our Waxahachie Downtown Merchants Association want to geek out with you by hosting an "Antiques & Geeks Scavenger Hunt." (A map and instructions will be posted soon).
